Agencies were warned to look out for people conducting surveillance on “soft targets,” or undefended non-military targets, in the U.S., according to the New York Post.
The State Department issued an alert for American citizens just days before Thanksgiving regarding the possible risks of travel due to the increase in recent threats from Middle Eastern terrorist units.
