Farms Are Hit Hard As Bird Flu Affects Millions of Hens

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Outbreaks of avian flu are increasing in the United States, with as many as 33 million chickens, turkeys and ducks potentially affected, according to a report in The New York Times

On Thursday, South Dakota reported a possible outbreak on a farm with 1.3 million chickens, the Times reported.
