The 44nd President of the United States, accompanied by his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha, touched down at Westchester County Airport in White Plains for the second time in the span of 28 hours on Saturday at around 6 p.m.
The Obamas will be attending the wedding of his personal chef, Sam Kass, and MSNBC talk show host Alex Wagner at the Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills.
Blue Hill at Stone Barns is on Route 448 in between routes 9 and Route 117 and the area has had a heavy police presence throughout the day. It is closed to the public Saturday.
The Obamas will be flying back to the White House from Westchester Airport immediately after attending the wedding and reception Saturday night, at approximately 11 p.m.
Obama, unaccompanied by his family, appeared at private fundraisers in New Rochelle and Purchase on Friday, with his motorcade leading to a no-fly zone at Westchester Airport and causing delays on major highways in the county during getaway day for the Labor Day Weekend.
The New Rochelle fundraiser was at the home of Greenwood Company CEO Camilo Patrignani, the Head of Americas at Libra Group, and included a small amount of guests.
Wall Street financier Robert Wolf hosted the Purchase fundraiser which included about 10 times as many guests, approximately 250, including Congresswoman Nita Lowey.
Attendees at both events contributed up to the maximum amount of $32,400.
