The new study, conducted using mice, found exercise might change how the body fights off cancer by boosting adrenaline, immune cells and body chemicals that, together, can reduce the chances of contracting the disease, said the New York Times.
Conducted by scientist at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, simply broken down, the results found exercises, such as running, seemed to partially protect the mice against the melanoma skin cancer they were implanted with versus the mice who were not provided with running wheels in their cages, added the New York Times.
