Erotic Fiction Author Zane To Visit White Plains Library

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Erotic fiction buffs can meet one of the stars of the genre when Zane visits the White Plains Library on Saturday, Sept. 29, for a noon question-and-answer session with the public and to sign copies of her books.

Zane is the pseudonym for the writer of more than two dozen erotic novels, including The New York Times best-seller "Addicted," which has been turned into a motion picture. She also has the Cinemax television series "Zane’s Sex Chronicles."

“I think there is a really great interest in her work,” said Brian Kinney, director of the White Plains Library. “She’s sort of created a genre unto herself.”

Zane’s work was a precursor to novels like the popular summer read "50 Shades of Grey," Kinney said. Her other novels include "Afterburn," "The Heat Seekers," "Dear G-Spot" and "Zane’s Z-Rated: Chocolate Flava 3," released Aug. 28.

“There are so many Zane fans out there, and this is a really exciting opportunity for fans of hers and aspiring writers to meet her,” Kinney said.

Local author Sarah Bracey White will facilitate the conversation between Zane and the audience. White is executive director of Greenburgh Arts and Culture.

In October, Jonathan Tropper will visit the library as part of its first annual Book Group & Author event. Tropper will talk about and sign copies of his latest book, "One Last Thing Before I Go," 2 to 3 p.m. Register for this free event online.
