WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- After arresting a Yonkers man with what police believe to be crack-cocaine over the weekend, White Plains officers spotted a second man smoking what also appeared to be crack Tuesday.
Officers saw Theodore Kelley, 36, of White Plains, look around the 159 S. Lexington Ave. parking lot and kneel near a parked car just before 8 p.m. Police said Kelley then crouched down near a parked car, pressed a glass pipe to his lips and held a lighter to the far end of the pipe.
Police then caught a whiff of the smoke coming out of Kelley's mouth, which contained "an odor of burned crack," according to police reports. When police approached Kelley, he dropped his glass pipe, which officers said contained an off-white residue believed to be crack-cocaine.
Kelley was arrested and charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

- Four $649.88 iPhones were stolen from the Westchester mall Apple store between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Apple store employee who reported the $2,599.96 theft told police surveillance from the store would be given to detectives.
- An MK Gas Station Inc. employee discovered three inspection stickers had been stolen from an inspection machine when he went to use the equipment Tuesday afternoon. The Bank Street gas station employee told police someone took the inspection stickers sometime between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 12:24 p.m. Tuesday. According to police reports, the MK Gas Station Inc. believes an employee may be responsible for the theft.
