- The White Plains Performing Arts Center announced Thursday an inspection of its facilities found no signs of pests after an adjoining movie complex was cited for bugs and rodents. Earlier in the week, the operators of the Cinema de Lux theater at City Center told White Plains officials they are taking additional steps to get rid of bugs, vermin and other critters.
- Frederick Nelson, the career criminal who recently was arrested in Bronxville for stealing $2,000 from St. Joseph’s Church during the holidays, faces additional charges for his role in a theft at the high school.
