Berkley's White Plains Campus Celebrates 10 Years

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- State Assemblyman Robert Castelli (R - Goldens Bridge) honored the Berkeley College White Plains campus during its 10th anniversary celebration Sept. 8 by presenting the college with an official Assembly citation.

"Berkeley College is part of the foundation of Westchester County. What makes their pursuit of excellence in education and service to the community so vital, is that by partnering with the business community here, they are training the future leaders of tomorrow with the skills they need for today’s jobs. What is now considered cutting edge in higher education has always been the norm here at Berkeley,” Castelli said in a release. 

Students, faculty, and local politicians gathered at at the downtown White Plains campus last week to commemorate the Westchester campus' 10th anniversary in White Plains and the college's 80th anniversary. 

Berkley, which enrolls nearly 9,000 students in 26 various programs, unveiled a nine-panel Berkley College Legacy Timeline at the Sept. 8 event. Each panel documents a decade of the college's history.
