All Sorts Of Wildlife Call Hudson Valley Home, Experts Say

Recent sightings of somewhat unusual wildlife have local experts reminding residents that it isn't surprising since several varieties of wild animals roam throughout the Hudson Valley area, according to lohud.com.

Many people may be used to seeing the occasional skunk, raccoon or even coyote. But, after a bear and a moose were spotted in Bedford, wildlife officials are warning people that it is best to leave wildlife alone, lohud.com reports.

The good news is rabies cases appear to have remained steady or declined in some areas. Wildlife experts provided lohud.com with tips and information on the variety of animals people are likely to encounter, such as snakes, bobcats, foxes, bats and more.
