WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Elizabeth M. Sheeky of White Plains died Dec. 31. She was 85.
Born Elizabeth Mary Harmonay in 1926, she was married to the late Harold D. Sheeky, retired sergeant of the White Plains Police Department. Sheeky was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, the Columbiettes and the Our Lady of Sorrows Seniors.
She is survived by her sons David (Priscilla) Sheeky and James (Lorena) Sheeky, her brother Richard M. Harmonay of Greenwich, Conn., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, her twin sister Cecilia Pyrch, her sisters Vera Pepchinski, Clare Matzko and Mary Harmonay and her brothers William, S. Leo and Laurence Sheeky.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral mass begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
