WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - John J. Bratkovics, of White Plains, died on Oct. 24 at Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He was 50 years old.
Born on Aug. 17, 1961 to Anna Tanzosh and the late Frank Stephen Bratkovics, he was Head of Infrastructure IT at Dresdner Kleinwort for 20 years. On Feb. 3, 1996 he married Gabriela Preda in Queens.
Bratkovics was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and was devoted to his friends, family and dog, Sparky.
He is survived by his wife Gabriela, his mother Anna, his son Christopher, his daughter Olivia, his brother Frank Stephen Bratkovics of Albrightville, Penn. and his sister Sandra Bratkovics Gordon of Germantown, Tenn.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
