WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - White Plains Hospital dedicated its new Wound Care Center last week in honor of one of the hospital's long serving surgeons.
The new Wound Care Center was renovated and relocated within the hospital. The medical center chose to use the opening of the new center to honor Purchase resident Dr. Carl Weber.
Weber is the former president of the medical staff at White Plains Hospital and former director of surgery. He has been a dedicated surgeon at WPH since the 1960s, hospital officials said. He was called a champion of the wound care center for decades.
