Westchester Fashion Academy Holds Summer Design Camp For Kids

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Westchester Fashion Academy for Children is offering a Fashion Day Camp in White Plains to teach children how to design clothes.

Ages 9 to 17 are welcome to learn about fashion sketching, draping, pant making, handbag making and more.

Day camp runs Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Westchester Fashion Academy for Children is located at 31 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains.

The schedule is as follows:

Designing an Art Top ($750) – June 24 to 28
Portfolio Preparation Week ($600) – June 8 to 12
Critique Week ($1,200) – July 15 to 19
Handbag Design ($750) – July 22 to 26
Madison Avenue Series Draping (new) – TBD
Art and Language of Sketch ($750) – July 29 to Aug. 2
Fashion Textiles and Color ($750) – Aug. 5 to 9
Pant Design Patternmaking ($750) – Aug. 12 to 16
Owning and Operating a Boutique ($750) – Aug. 19 to 23
