“Wow, another amazing back-to-school backpack drive!” said My Sisters' Place Volunteer Coordinator Silvia Lederman. “Thank you so much to our generous donors, volunteers and staff who worked together to ensure that the children served by MSP will go back to school with all the supplies they need to make a great start.”

The White Plains-based organization serves the victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Its annual backpack drive was made possible by help from volunteers, individual donors, The Children’s Hope Chest, The Links, Inc., UJA-Federation of New York's Engage Jewish Service Corps and the Xi Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

My Sisters' Place and its partners purchased, gathered, sorted and delivered backpacks and essential school supplies throughout the summer.
