This is the first Imaging Center in the Sound Shore region opened under the auspices of the hospital. The Center occupies the first floor of a newly renovated 18,000 square foot building in the Wykagyl Shopping Center, and is connected to a large primary and specialty care physician office suite on the second floor.
New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson toured the new space today with hospital C.E.O. Jon Schandler and President Susan Fox.
“We are very happy to welcome White Plains Hospital to New Rochelle,” said Mayor Bramson. “The hospital’s reputation for exceptional health care makes it a welcome addition to our community.”
The Imaging Center offers comprehensive diagnostic radiology services including bone densitometry, CT scan, mammography and 3D mammography, ultrasound and X-Ray. All services are by appointment only and fall under the direction of Scarsdale radiologist Pamela Weber, M.D.
“We are very pleased to be welcomed into this very special community,” said Susan Fox, President of White Plains Hospital. “It is our hope that the White Plains Hospital Imaging Center at New Rochelle will fulfill a need in the area for exceptional radiology services in a comfortable and convenient location right here in the heart of the Sound Shore.”
