WalletHub’s number crunchers compared the 100 largest cities across 13 key metrics, ranging from “number of Easter egg-hunt events per capita” to “percentage of Christian population” to “Easter weather forecast.”

Roughly 80 percent of all Americans are expected to observe the holiday in some way.

When it comes to Easter celebrations, New York comes in among the highest in the nation for candy and chocolate shops but if you want the best weather or egg hunts, head west to California or Texas, reports WalletHub.

Besides Valentine’s Day, Easter is the other big “consumer” holiday that’s expected to rake in billions. According to the National Retail Federation, the average U.S. consumer will spend roughly $146 each on Easter goodies.

Best cities for Easter over are Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Orlando.
