Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep Film Steven Spielberg Movie In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An untitled movie -- a Steven Spielberg project starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep -- is filming along North Broadway and Hamilton Avenue in White Plains on Thursday, June 8, according to On Location Vacations.

Meryl Streep recently racked up her 20th Oscar nod for her turn in "Florence Foster Jenkins."

Scenes are being shot specifically at the old AT&T building near Route 22 and Barker Avenue, said the site, and may continue for a few more weeks.

According to Variety, the Spielberg project is a drama that recounts the Washington Post’s role in exposing the Pentagon Papers to the public in 1971.
