Garcia is partnering with Westchester County Medical Center to provide fashion tip videos as part of the effort to raise awareness for National Heart Month.
In her fourth video, Garcia’s model wore a black outfit with a scarf that included hints of red. “We don’t have to wear the entire item saturated in red,’’ Garcia said. “If you wear just pops of it, it definitely gets the point across.”
Garcia said besides functionality, scarves are excellent additions to a winter wardrobe because they add versatility. “I love a scarf,’’ she said. “I think it adds such a lift to any outfit and I think it gives another dimension of fashion and style.”
In her fifth and final video, Garcia’s model wore a red blouse with black slacks. The model also wore red lipstick and nail polish to complete the look.
“It’s a great way to add red if you don’t want to buy a piece,’’ Garcia said.
Garcia said some women falsely believe they cannot wear red lipstick. “You have to find the right shade of color,’’ she said. “You absolutely can. And you’ll look beautiful.”
