It's too late to get a table at many great Southern Westchester restaurant but here are four you can give a try to take your favorite mom on Mother's Day, but call ahead.
Royal Palace Catering Hall & Restaurant: 77 Knollwood Road, White Plains- (914) 289-1988: Spice up the celebration at this Indian restaurant serving a 45-course brunch Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"After visiting this wonderful restaurant, I can say “I love Indian food” I truly enjoyed my first visit. My friends and I felt like home! We will definitely come back. Oh, and I love Indian music too," with a smiley emoji.
Another posted this on Facebook: "Had a fantastic meal. The chef was knowledgeable and very friendly." And a third review on Facebook said, "Stylish interior. Cozy atmosphere."
Eastchester Fish Gourmet, 837 Post Road, Scarsdale (914) 725-3450: 150alisong on Tripadvisor posted this recent review: "We’ve eaten here dozens of times including for special occasions. The food is absolutely delicious! Best chopped salad, mouth-watering branzino with amazing sides, red sangria The Best, ahi tuna tacos phenomenal, and hot fudge sundae the ultimate. This is hands down our favorite restaurant!"
La Panetiere, 530 Milton Road, Rye-(914) 967-8140: Open Sunday, May 12 from noon to 8 p.m. and serving a special menu and a reduced à la carte menu. Brunch here includes savory options like lamb stew with spring vegetables, pearl onions, pancetta and dry-aged New York strip with Bordelaise-peppercorn sauce.
Ann D. of Bronxville, N.Y., on Tripadvisor said, "Been to La Panetiere for brunch, dinner, and lunch. Each was wonderful in its own way. The brunch is elegant and enables diners to dip into the delights of the full menu."
Moscato Restaurant: 874 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale- (914) 723-5700: Open 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, this is a cozy space with a wooden bar, beams, and tables with white linens.
A Tripadvisor post says, "I had the Branzino which was encrusted in tons of almonds and was amazing!! I highly recommend it. The house salad was good and the tiramisu for dessert was great."
