The video with 33,982 views shows calamities ranging from a woman smashing herself forehead first into a half garage door, to a man tumbling down a staircase while looking and poking around on devices.

In one of the segments, a man is seen using his cell phone walking briskly on a sidewalk directly into the path of an approaching bear, before turning and running away, in what looks like a residential area.

According to the video, emergency room visits from "distracted walking" has risen sharply since 2005 when 256 people visited an emergency room versus 2,300 in 2013.
