Coca-Cola Promotes Weight Loss Through Exercise, Not Cutting Sugar

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sugary beverage giant Coca Cola has teamed up with scientists to help promote the idea that weight loss stems from exercise just as much as healthy eating, according to a New York Times article.

The campaign started as a response to slipping soft drink popularity, the article claims, and hopes to de-bunk the myth that America's obesity problem is solely based on the consumption of high sugar and high fat foods.
