Time-strapped consumers are pushing Cyber Monday into the holiday shopping limelight, making it among the most lucrative days for retailers and bargain hunters alike, according to about.com.
Nearly 90 percent of retailers offer Cyber Monday sales and 40 percent of shoppers say it’s the fast, 24-hour convenience that makes it preferable to facing crowds on Black Friday, the website says.
More than half of consumers use mobile devices to shop Cyber Monday and nearly 75 percent of retailers advertise sales on Facebook.
