Westchester County Blood Drive To Remember 9/11

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County once again will have a Marylou Seaman Employee Blood Drive as part of its 9/11 observance.

The drive, open to the public, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 11, at the County Center, 198 Central Park Ave., White Plains.

Anyone between the ages of 16-76 and weighing at least 110 pounds is a potential donor. Individuals older than 76 who can produce a doctor's note shortly before the drive are acceptable donors, too.

The drive is named after Seaman, who coordinated blood drives in the county for 30 years.
