Valentine’s Day Ball For White Plains Seniors Will Be Held On Thursday

It  will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the White Plains Community Center, 65 Mitchell Place, White Plains.

The ball is sponsored by the City of White Plains Mayor’s Youth Council, in collaboration with the White Plains Community Center and the Department of Recreation and Parks. The event includes an evening of dinner, dancing, games and prizes. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is donating dinner for the evening.

Students from various Youth Bureau programs will participate in the inter-generational ball assisting with set up, clean up and interacting with the seniors. The purpose of the ball is to "bridge the gap between senior citizens and the youth of White Plains," representatives said.
