Area residents can purchase a red nose at any Walgreen’s location, which will help raise funds to combat childhood poverty, according to a press release.
United Way officials plan to bring a variety of related activities to Westchester and Putnam counties throughout 2016 and 2017.
An NBC special will also air at 8 p.m. to educate people about local poverty and to provide more information about the Red Nose campaign.
For more information or to volunteer for the Red Nose planning team, call Bo Zhang at the United Way of Westchester and Putnam at 914-997-6700, ext. 728.
