More than 70 women attended the event, where guests donated gifts, toys, clothing and more toward Hope’s Door, an organization supporting survivors of domestic violence. “The staff and board at Hope’s Door are very grateful to the members of Professional Women of Westchester for their generosity and thoughtfulness,” said Hope's Door Executive Director CarlLa Horton.
Hope’s Door has locations in Ossining and Pleasantville.
“The holidays are a time of reflection, family and giving thanks,” said Jamie Imperati, president of PWW. “So often we get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle that we forget about the thousands of families right on our doorstep who don’t have a safe home to celebrate the holidays. We’re delighted and honored to help our friends at Hope’s Door, because they never forget about any family in crisis.” To learn more about Hope’s Door, click here.
