White Plains Residents Could See Peak Of Perseid Meteor Shower

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Westchester residents may be able to view the Perseid meteor shower as it peaks Wednesday night into Thursday morning, reports Business Insider.

Sky-gazers could see 50 to 100 meteors per hour during the shower, which is visible each year from the end of July through August, according to the report.

The best time to observe the meteor shower is between 3 and 6 a.m., according to NASA.
