The event will run from noon to 2 p.m. at the Justice Clinic at the school.
Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins will host the rally in partnership with other elected officials and community groups throughout Westchester County including the Immigration Justice Clinic at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, the Lower Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union, Cabrini Immigrant Services, Community Voices Heard, the Yonkers Islamic Center, the Muslim American Society of Upper New York, St. Catherine AME Zion Church, Calvary Baptist Church, the Minister’s Fellowship Council of White Plains and Vicinity, the Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus, and Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings-on-Hudson.
Stewart-Cousins said the rally was an effort to demonstrate support for human rights and in solidarity with immigrants and refugees throughout the world,
Protestors should gather on the Gerber Glass Lawn, 78 N. Broadway, White Plains.
