Educators Invited To Attend Stem-d Science Conference Hosted By Pace

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Educators who teach science are invited to attend a conference "Rethinking STEM-D Education: Innovative Practices from the Field" sponsored by Pace University's School of Education on Thursday, May 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Teachers are invited to attend a conference focusing innovation in learning and teaching in STEM-D subjects for children.

The conference will be held in Pace's Graduate Center located at One Martine Ave. in White Plains. 

The Lower Hudson Teach Center Network, the New York Technology Educators Network, Southern Westchester BOCES and The Lower Hudson Regional Information Center are also sponsoring the event. 

It will be geared toward practitioners and administrators who are interested in student success in STEM-D fields such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics and design.

The conference fee is $25. Attendees may register online through Pace University or if paying by Purchase Order through MyLearningPlan.
