The Bank has been selected in the category of Small Business Success and will be awarded through The Business Council of Westchester on Tuesday, April 19 at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
This latest award coincides with another recent Bank achievement that is the pinnacle of the banking industry, a 2016 Bauer Financial 5-Star Rating, representative of financial strength, excellence and stability.
The Westchester Bank has grown from just 8 employees when it opened its doors in 2008 to 57 employees today. The Bank has grown to become the leading community bank in Westchester County, and one of the fastest growing in the nation.
John M. Tolomer, President & CEO of The Westchester Bank said, “It’s an honor for the Bank to receive the 2016 Business Hall of Fame recognition. Our special thanks go out to Marsha Gordon and The Business Council of Westchester for continuing to foster, unite and strengthen all facets of Westchester’s business community.”

The Westchester Bank also salutes the other 2016 Business Hall of Fame winners including Westchester Medical Center for Corporate Citizenship, Steiner Sports for Entrepreneurial Success, Wendy Wollner for Women in Business Success, The College of Westchester for Family Owned Business, and N. Dain’s Sons Company for Chairman’s Recognition Award.
