Wrong-Way Driver Caught After Striking Cop Cruiser On I-84 In Hudson Valley: Police A 41-year-old woman was slapped with drunk driving charges after driving the wrong way on I-84 throughout two counties in the Hudson Valley, striking a police cruiser in the process, authorities said. The woman's arrest stemmed from an incident in Putnam County on Saturday, Nov. 11 around 1:45 a.m., when a vehicle was reported to be traveling east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Kent.  According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, a sheriff's deputy found the vehicle and attempted to stop it. Man Jumps To Death From Bear Mountain Bridge A 48-year-old man jumped to his death from a Hudson Valley bridge. The incident took place on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Bear Mountain Bridge near in the town of Cortlandt in Northern Westchester County. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, New Jersey resident Aleksey P. Mikhaylov, of Northvale, was located and pronounced dead at the scene.   No signs of foul play were discovered at this time, Hicks said.
