Seven Rockland Businesses Cited For Underage Alcohol Sales The NYS Liquor Authority (SLA) has issued citations to a number of businesses in the Rockland County area for underage alcohol sales, Orangetown Police said. The SLA conducted underage drinking inspections in various locations in the Town of Orangetown on Friday, Dec. 14. Four Store Clerks Caught Selling Alcohol To Minors In Orange County Four out of 30 businesses visited by the state Liquor Authority and the Middletown Police sold alcohol to an undercover minor during a sting operation. The businesses visited on Monday included convenience stores, grocery stores, delis, beverage centers and liquor stores, said William Crowley with the Liquor Authority.
