Woman Killed In Three-Vehicle Crash A woman was killed in an early morning three-vehicle crash in the area. The crash happened at around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 in Dutchess County, on Route 9G just north of West Market Street/Route 199 in the town of Red Hook. An initial investigation by state police shows Ulster County resident Dino J. Police Investigating Reported Attempted Abduction Of 12-Year-Old Boy In Area Police are investigating a report of an attempted abduction involving a 12-year-old boy. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 5:48 p.m. when the victim told police that he was approached on East Market Street in Red Hook by a shorter white male, with gray facial hair and possibly gray hair, driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.  According to Red Hook Police, the victim said he was walking westbound on East Market Street when the male pulled up next to him and said: "Hi, I know your father."
