Rockland Finalizing New Orders To Keep People Who May Have Been Exposed To Measles At Home Rockland County officials are finalizing new steps to take in the measles outbreak in the wake of a state Supreme Court judge putting the brakes on the county's state of emergency. On Tuesday, April 9, County Executive Ed Day and Commissioner of Health Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert announced that an appeal would be filed against last week’s decision by State Supreme Court Judge Hon.
