The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 at the Nyack Marina in Nyack.  The Orangetown Police were notified of a body found in the water near the boat launch at the Nyack Marina, said Capt. Retired Nyack Firefighter, 51, Dies Of 9/11 Related Cancer Retired FDNY Lt. Joseph Stach Jr. of Valley Cottage, died of 9/11 related cancer on Sunday, Jan. 7.
