Lane Closure Scheduled On Busy Route 44 Stretch The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of an upcoming lane closure on Route 44. The Department says that a single lane closure is scheduled for Route 44 eastbound and westbound between Victory Lane and James Street in the Dutchess County town of Poughkeepsie. The lane is scheduled to close Saturday, Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.
