Middletown Boy Collects Socks For Homeless Shelter MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- Logan Eisenberg, an 11-year-old Middletown resident, is doing what he can to help the homeless. Eisenberg, a sixth grader at Monhagen Middle School, has launched a sock drive for the people at the homeless shelter run by Helping Others Needing Our Resources. With his mother, Danielle, Logan would visit a gas station every week and encounter a man who would ask for spare change, who lived at a nearby shelter.
