Port Jervis Man Charged In Hit-Run That Injured Resident On Morning Run A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash of a pedestrian that was seriously injured. Ismael Ramos, of Port Jervis, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 31, and charged with leaving the scene of a serious injury accident and failure to keep right, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. The incident took place around 7 a.m. Jan. 8 when Robert Ruscher, 62, of Greenville, was on a morning run along Monahan Road in Greenville when he was struck by a vehicle in the 100 block of the roadway, Nevel said. Police Ask Public's Help In Investigation Of Orange County Hit-Run State Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run crash in Orange County that involved a vehicle and pedestrian, and they’re asking for the public’s help. The crash occurred on Monahan Road in the Town of Greenville on Tuesday, Jan. 8 between 6:35 a.m. and 7 a.m. At this time, 62-year-old Robert Ruscher of Greenville had left his Rutger Creek Road home and was taking a morning run in the area. His last memory involves spotting a vehicle around the 100 block of Monahan Road. Ruscher suffered from a broken right ankle as well as a head injury and multiple abrasions. State Police are urg…
