School Superintendent In Hudson Valley To Retire: Decision Made With 'Very Heavy Heart' The superintendent of a Hudson Valley school district has made the unexpected decision to retire in order to take care of a family member. The Brewster Board of Education announced that following an extensive search, they have appointed Laurie Bandlow as the Superintendent at the Brewster Central School District.
