Orange County School To Close For Year Delays from the state Department of Education have forced a Hudson Valley school district to close an elementary school for a year. The school, Fort Montgomery Elementary School, is located in Orange County. O’Neill High School students and school employees are mourning the loss of a favorite teacher and coach who died Monday in an early morning car crash in the Town of Newburgh.
