A man wanted in connection with an alleged home invasion in which an area resident was stabbed, has been nabbed by authorities. Jamel McCaskill, of New York City, was arrested in New Jersey on Friday, April 16, for the n Orange County incident which took place in Washingtonville on Saturday, Jan. 30. Rockland Trucker Ticketed In Route 17 Crash That Killed Motorcyclist
The Rockland County driver of a garbage truck that struck and killed a 52-year-old motorcyclist from Hasbrouck Heights on Route 17 on Monday was issued summonses for careless driving and failure to observe road signals, authorities said. Oradell Ex-Con Admits Robbing Mahwah, Edgewater Banks, More
An Oradell man admitted in federal court Wednesday that he robbed banks in Edgewater and Mahwah – one of them with help from his girlfriend -- as well as an out-of-area bank, gas station and liquor store. Joel Robbins, a 47-year-old Tenafly native, was caught after he pointed a fake gun at two tellers at a TD Bank on Route 17 in Mahwah on Dec. 3 and demanded money, warning them not to “make me have to kill you,” authorities said. Two familiar families -- both coming from lines of first responders -- are now grieving following the death of a young man after authorities said he was knocked unconscious by his friend outside a Pearl River bar. Allendale PD: Driver Shouted Death Threat Outside Northern Highlands HS
ALLENDALE, N.J. – “I will kill everyone!” a frustrated father of a student shouted as he pulled into the parking lot of Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, making a gun gesture with his hands – and leading to his arrest, authorities said.
