Two Dead In Fiery I-84 Crash Involving Three Tractor-Trailers, School Bus A fiery four-vehicle crash on I-84 has left two people dead and the highway closed with miles-long back-ups.  The crash, between three tractor-trailers and an empty school bus in East Hartford, took place around 5:10 a.m., Monday, June 3, between exits 55 and 56, when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a school bus, said Connecticut State Police Sgt. Dwight Washington during a press conference. Following the crash, three vehicles were engulfed in flames, including two tractor-trailers and the school bus. Orange County Man Extradited To Connecticut On Larceny Charge An inmate from the Hudson Valley is facing a host of new charges after being extradited to Fairfield County on an active arrest warrant that was out for his arrest for scamming his victims while posing as a contractor. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to the Orange County Correctional Facility in Goshen on Friday, Nov. 30, to extradite Tuxedo Park resident Robert Karwowski, 43, who was wanted in the state of Connecticut.
