Man From Region Nabbed After Police Pursuit In Stolen Vehicle Ends In Orange County, Police Say A man from the region was nabbed for allegedly stealing a vehicle after fleeing from state police. The incident began in Putnam County on Wednesday, Jan. 31 in Brewster on westbound I-84 after New York State Police spotted a vehicle matching the description of a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash. Woman Charged With Prostitution At Hudson Valley Business A 49-year-old woman was arrested on prostitution charges on Tuesday by East Fishkill police at a business in the Taconic Plaza off Route 52 in Hopewell Junction.Police said they investigated illegal activity at the Unique Beauty Spa. East Fishkill detectives assisted by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested Wai Yee Chu of New York City.  Chu was arrested after providing a massage and offering to perform a sex act on an undercover officer.
