The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just after 3 a.m. in the Town of LaGrange on Route 55 near Sedgewick Road. A preliminary investigation found that a 2011 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Route 55 when the driver lost control and drove off the roadway before striking several trees, police said.
