Lane Closures Scheduled For New Tappan Zee Bridge Lane closures have been scheduled near the new Tappan Zee Bridge as contracting crews continue work overnight. Tappan Zee Constructors (TZC) is scheduled to re-stripe the westbound lanes near the new bridge beginning on Friday night, Jan. 19 requiring lane closures on I-87 and I-287. One left lane is scheduled to be closed at 8 p.m. on Friday night, with an additional lane closed each hour.
