Man With Suspended License Nabbed With Drugs, State Police Say A 44-year-old man was arrested on numerous drug and traffic charges after being stopped by state police. Ulster County resident Eric Tischler, of the Town of Ulster, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 16, after being stopped in his 2003 Audi A4 by state police for a traffic violation, said Trooper Steven Nevel. During the stop, the trooper found that Tischler was driving on a suspended license and that he was allegedly in possession of numerous drugs, including cocaine, Alprazolam, and Lorazepam, and concentrated cannabis contained in a vaporizer cartridge.  Tischler was charged with: …

BMW Driver Faces Vehicular Assault Charge In Drunk Driving Head-On Crash, Police Say A 28-year-old man who was allegedly driving while intoxicated during a crash that seriously injured another ma  has been charged with vehicular assault. On Sunday, Nov. 25, the State Police arrested Carlos M. Aguilar Breton of Poughkeepsie for DWI following a crash around 8:10 p.m. on Route 55 west of Route 82 in the town of LaGrange, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. At the time of the crash, Breton, who was driving a 2015 BMW 528i, struck a 2005 Subaru Legacy head-on.
