Truck Rollover Causes Hours-Long Lane Closure On I-84 In Orange County Traffic is back up to speed on I-84 following an overnight tractor-trailer crash that closed the highway for hours. The crash took place around 10:25 p.m., Tuesday when a tractor-trailer lost control and overturned blocking the left-hand lane of I- 84 eastbound in Newburgh, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. An eastbound passenger vehicle, unable to avoid the wreckage, then struck the overturned tractor trailer. Both drivers received minor injuries, he added. Assisting on scene included Brewster firefighters and EMStar paramedics.
