Woman Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash In Area Remembered As Loving Mother, Grandparent A Hudson Valley woman who died in a three-vehicle crash last week is being remembered as a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dutchess County resident Katherine Woisin, of Wappinger, died at the age of 85 in a crash on Route 9D in Wappinger at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, authorities said.  Authorities said Woisin was driving onto Route 9D from Alpine Drive when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle. Woman Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash In Area One person was killed during a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened in Dutchess County at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4 on Route 9D in the Town of Wappinger. A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Katherine E. Woisin, age 85, of Wappinger, was pulling out onto Route 9D from Alpine Drive when it was struck by another vehicle that was southbound on Route 9D, said Capt.
