Man Wanted For Area Armed Robbery Nabbed After Parkway Chase, Police Say A man wanted for the alleged armed robbery of a Hudson Valley mini-mart was nabbed by state police following a chase on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident started in Rockland County around 9:43 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in Clarkstown. New York State Police were advised to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in an armed robbery of a mini-mart in Clarkstown, said Trooper Tara McCormick.  Troopers spotted the wanted vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, traveling southbound on the Mario Cuomo Bridge and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued, …

Man Who Assaulted Victim Nabbed In Orange County, Police Say A 34-year-old man was arrested by state police after allegedly assaulting another person. Orange County resident William S. Kleiber, of Monroe, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 10 by New York State Police for the domestic incident which took place on Saturday, Feb. 6, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Following the incident, an investigation revealed that Kleiber had physically assaulted the victim and prevented them from leaving a residence and from using a cell phone, Nevel said. Erratic Driver Complaint Leads To Felony DWI Charge For Man In Area An erratic driver complaint led to the arrest of a 28-year-old Hudson Valley man for DWI.  Allan P. Forbes, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, after New York State Police received a 911 call of an erratic driver on Noxon Road in the town of LaGrange, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, troopers found Forbes was operating while intoxicated without an interlock device, had a prior DWI conviction within 10 years, and was driving on a suspended license, Hicks said.
