PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — Members of the Port Jervis Police Department hit the streets Wednesday — but for a fun and safe cause.
A student at Anna S. Kuhl Elementary School enjoys free gifts after the "walking school bus" event with local police.

They escorted the students from J's Mobil to A.S.K.
"Along the way, they were given pedestrian and bicycle safety tips. All participants received book bags and treats!," Port Jervis Police said in a Facebook post.
